An innovative showroom of Made in Italy furniture and finishings will rise in the first two floors of a building mirrored into Manama bay, The concept for the setting rejects the stereotype of the classic showroom based on an overdose of products, catalogues and logos, and counterposes to it the image of an ethereal and luminous environment where few samples are exposed in big format as pieces in an art gallery. The project is founded around the preexisting grid, whose pillars have been absorbed by prisms with slanted bases breaking the regularity of the space and redefining it dynamically. The bottom level, moulded by these sort of mediterranean vaults, becomes also a place for events and parties. Samplers and brand corners are situated, instead, on the upper deck. The customer will access to them just later on, after being properly welcomed downstairs.Nei primi due piani di un edificio specchiato sulla baia di Manama (Bahrein) nascerà un innovativo showroom di finiture e arredi Made in Italy. Il concept dell’allestimento rigetta lo stereotipo della classica sala mostra fondata sull’overdose di prodotti, cataloghi e loghi, e vi contrappone l’immagine di un ambiente rarefatto e luminoso, in cui pochi campioni vengono esposti in grande formato come in una galleria d’arte. Il progetto è impostato intorno alla preesistente maglia di pilastri, che viene inglobata da scultorei fusti rastremati verso il basso rompendo la regolarità e ridefinendo gli ambiti in maniera avvolgente e dinamica. Il livello inferiore, articolato da quelle che combinandosi appaiono quasi come volte mediterranee, diviene così anche luogo per eventi e feste, mentre il campionario e i corner monomarca sono situati nel piano superiore: un livello di approfondimento successivo a cui il cliente accede solo dopo essere stato opportunamente ricevuto di sotto.
