The flat, located in a condo from the thirties with a wide terrace, was characterised by large corridors and passages in order to to ease the circulation to the wheelchair of the previous owner. The necessary resizing generated a massive ‘island’ in the core of the plan that contains now most of the closets and service spaces. The curved lines, recalling the quasi-rationalist style of the building, let the domestic life free to flow in the well lit rooms on the perimeter till the completely rearranged terrace.L’appartamento, situato in uno stabile degli anni ’30 con una generosa terrazza, era caratterizzato da abbondanti corridoi e passaggi per agevolare una facile mobilità alla sedia a rotelle del precedente proprietario. Il necessario ridimensionamento ha generato una massiccia ‘isola’ nel nucleo centrale che integra ora la maggior parte degli armadi e degli spazi di servizio. Le linee curve e flessuose, che richiamano l’architettura blandamente razionalista dell’edificio, lasciano la vita domestica libera di fluire nelle stanze ben illuminate del perimetro fino alla terrazza totalmente rinnovata.
